Introduction to Booking

The Booking core allows DSV customers to place booking requests (pick-up request) online via the myDSV dashboard using a widget, or via one of the inbound interfaces to myDSV dashboard. Customers can create bookings for all transport modes, i.e. Air, SeaClosed Ocean and Sea are used interchangeably. (FCL, LCL), RoadClosed Land and Road are used interchangeably. (international, domestic) and Parcel (selected countries only).

The booking requests that are created in the Booking core are forwarded to the DSV branch office that is responsible for this respective booking request.

The Booking core receives status updates to provide you with full visibility on the booking status of your bookings via the "My Shipments" widget.

 

There are two widgets available in the dashboard that are needed to use Booking:

  • The Booking widgets is used to create bookings with or without templates.

     

  • The My Shipments widget allows you to see the booking status of your bookings.
